We had the first frosty mornings and soon the wattle blossoms will turn the valley into a sweet sweet sea of yellow. The cooler weather is ideal to explore the canyons, mountains or just the flatter tracks along the Wolgan River. Let the kids run free. We have got push bikes and plenty of space. Spend the evenings around the fire under the clear Australian sky. |

After 7 months of work we finally got it together and we are proud of the result. We are sure you will enjoy the wonderful footage of the mining town, railway, school and the move of the pub together with interviews of former residents and the Friend of Newnes. The DVD brings the whole story of Newnes together in an hour of brilliant entertainment. It also forms a record of the rich history of this part of Australia.
