What
Is Shareware?
Well,
shareware is a concept whereby programmers create certain software
and allow you to try it out for a specified time to see if it suits
your needs. If you like it, you can purchase it. This is often far
cheaper than buying commercial software, and is quite often far superior.
What
Is Freeware?
Freeware
is exactly like it says. Free. What more could one ask for? Similiar
in concept to shareware, freeware programmers write the software,
release it to the public with no charges owing. Sometimes authors
will perhaps ask for a postcard or a donation to their favourite charity. |
