Netscape Navigator v2 and v3 settings

  • Start Netscape
  • Click Options in the Menu bar
  • Click on Network Preferences
  • Click on Proxies tab
  • Mark Automatic Proxy Configuration & type in the box
    http://www.lisp.com.au/proxy.proxy
  • Click OK

 

  • Click Options in the Menu bar
  • Click on General Preferences
  • Click on the Appearance tab
  • Go to "Browser starts with" and Mark Home Page Location
  • Type in the Home Page Location "http://www.lisp.com.au"
  • Click OK

 

NB: You will need to check your Internet Settings for your location to get your mail settings

  • Click Options in menu bar
  • Click on Mail and News preferences
  • Click Servers tab
  • Insert in the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server "mail.lisp.com.au"
  • Insert in the Incoming Mail (POP3) Server "mail.lisp.com.au"
  • Insert in the POP3 User Name space your username eg: john
  • Insert in the News (NNTP) Server space the words "news.lisp.com.au"
  • Click Identity tab
  • Fill in your real name, eg: John Smith
  • Fill in your email address, eg: john@lisp.com.au
  • Click ok
