To start the configuration of Classic Networking for Macintosh, open the ConfigPPP Control Panel click on the button marked ‘New’ and type ‘LiSP’ in the dialog box and click the button marked ‘Ok’. Fill out the screen as per the image on the right. Click on the button marked ‘Config’.

Make sure the phone number is correct, if you are unsure go to LiSP dial up numbers for a complete listing.

Ensure this is a local call charge.

Enter the modem init as ‘at&f’.

 Click on the button marked ‘Authentication’.

Enter the customer’s username in the field marked ‘Auth. ID’ and the password in the field marked ‘Password’.

Click on the PPP icon once so it highlights and click on the button marked ‘More’

NB: You will need to check your LiSP Internet Settings for your location. 

Fill out the fields as per the image on the right of the screen and click on the button marked ‘Ok’, and then ‘Ok’ again. The configuration of ConfigPPP has now been completed.
