Skymedia Satellite Card Setup

For Drivers Click Here

First unzip your Skymedia Software to a folder of your choice

 


Next turn off your computer and install the Satellite Card.
Then turn on your computer

Depending on which operating system you are using,

You will be prompted to supply the location of the driver for the Satellite card, See the example below


Select install from a specific location, Then click Next >

Click on the Browse button

Now select the folder that you unzipped your software to and click OK

Now Click Next > and your new device driver will be installed

 

If prompted to restart you computer, do so Now.
After installation of the driver
You will now install the software

 

Select general user, then click Next >

 

Click Next > again

 

Now restart you computer

 


After restarting your computer you should see a small icon with
a red X ontop of it, Located in the bottom right hand corner of
you task bar, Double click on this icon to configure your satellite card

Click the Device Information button

 


Make sure there is a tick in the BOX Always use new IP Address detected

 


Select Add... (add new)

 

 


Fill in the information as per the picture below

 


Click OK. Now select Add... from the transponder section

 


Fill in the information as per the picture below

 


Click OK. Now select Lock Test...

 


You should now see the turner information window.
There MUST be 4 happy faces.
If your information window is not like the one below.
Either some information has been entered incorrectly or you have some
problem with the dish installation

 


After you have a good tuner lock, Click on the Data PID/Encapsulation Tab
Now highlight Data PID 92 in the left hand window and transfer it to the right hand window
Then click the APPLY button, And then the OK button
Your Satellite card is now setup
