* You must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group in order to complete this procedure. * TCP/IP is installed as the default network protocol if network adapter hardware was detected during Windows 2000 Setup.

Double click on ‘My Computer

Double Click on ‘Control Panel

Double click on the ‘Network & Dial Up Connection’ icon

RIGHT mouse click on your LiSP icon, and choose Properties from the shortcut menu

NB: Click here for your Internet settings and correct dial-up number for your location.

Next, click on the tab called Networking

Click the Uninstall button.

Click the Yes button and follow the instructions.

To Reinstall TCP/IP

  1. On the Networking tab, ensure Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) is not in the list of installed components, then do the following:
  2. Click Install.
  3. Click Protocol, and then click Add.
  4. In the Select Network Protocol dialog box, click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), and then click OK.
  5. Verify that the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) check box is selected, and then click OK.
