To start the configuration of Shiva Dialer, double click on the dialer icon from the Internet group.
Place your Username and Password in the respective fields.
Click on the button marked ‘Properties’ to continue.
Make sure the phone number is correct, if you are unsure go to
LiSP dial up numbers for a complete listing.
Ensure this is a local call charge.
Click on the tab marked ‘General’ to continue.
You may wish to select ‘Automatically start Netscape Navigator’ from the area labeled "When connected".
Ensure nothing is checked in the
area labeled "Logging in"
Ensure that ‘Enable dial on demand’ is Checked in the area labeled ‘Dial on Demand’
Click on the ‘Modem’ tab to continue.
Ensure that the modem type is correct, if not you may click on the button marked ‘Change’ to change it.
Click on the ‘Service Provider’ tab to continue
NB: Click here for your DNS Internet settings for your location.
Enter ‘203.21.133.21’ into the Primary DNS field and ‘203.21.133.1’ in the Secondary DNS field.
Enter ‘lisp.com.au’ into the field marked ‘Domain Name’
Click on the button marked ‘Ok’ and you are ready to connect to the Internet.
