TIP 1:
If you are setting up a second email account, follow points 1 to 4, otherwise skip this section.

TIP 2:
To setup an extra mail account with a seperate mailbox identity simply open your email program and click on 'File' on the menu and then choose 'Identities' and 'Add new Identity'. Now continue as the screen prompts you and 'Switch to the new identity now'. Follow the screen prompts to 'Create a new Internet mail account' and start at the third screen shot below for your settings.

  1. Open your Outlook Express email program.
  2. Go to the menu and choose 'Tools', then click on 'Accounts'.
  3. On the new window choose the 'Add' button.
  4. Now follow the instructions below from the third screen shot onwards.

To start the configuration of Outlook Express, Double click on the Outlook Express icon located in the 'All Programs' menu.

 The first time you use Outlook Express it will open with a window offering to make it your default Email program. Place a tick in the box and click the 'Yes' button, then follow on as required.

 

Enter your name the way you would like other Internet users to see it when you send e-mail messages. Click 'Next'.

Enter your E-mail address.

Your e-mail address is your User name (eg: johnsmith) followed by LiSP’ domain name (lisp.com.au). Separated by an '@' symbol: johnsmith@lisp.com.au

Click Next

 

Click here for your Internet settings for your location.

LiSP's incoming mail server is a POP3 type server. Select POP3 from the option list.

The name of the Incoming mail server at LiSP is: ‘mail.lisp.com.au’

The Outgoing mail server at LiSP is: ‘mail.lisp.com.au’

Enter this in lower case letters, then click 'Next'

Your username should be entered in
lower-case letters in the ‘POP Account’ name field and is the first part of your email address ONLY.

TIP: don't use the full email address here, otherwise it won't work.

Your password should be entered in the ‘Password’ field, click Next

 

 

Click on 'Finish' button.
