Go to the 'Start' button at bottom left of your screen and choose 'Help and Support'.

Next, click on 'Undo changes to your computer with System Restore'

Now choose the first option 'Restore my computer to an earlier time' and press 'Next'.

 

 On the left hand side of your screen you'll see a calendar. Click any date shown in 'bold' that coincides with your last known successful  Internet connection. The date and time of the restoration file will be shown on the right hand side of the screen.

Now click the 'Next' button.

 

Now click the 'Next' button and follow the process as your previous settings are restored.

Any programs installed at a time later than the restore point will need to be re-installed.
