Description: BestPractice is a tool to slow down or speed up music, either from a wave/mp3 file or directly from a CD. Ordinarily the sound is distorted when slowed down our sped up - you get the effect like when playing a 45 rpm record on 33 rpm speed. BestPractice tries to correct this, so you can slow down and speed up music, while keeping the original tune. One can also change the pitch of the music without affecting its length. The processed audio can be saved to wave file.
Uses:
* Your favorite musician plays a solo that you want to study, but you can't figure it out on normal speed
* You'd like to transcribe music, but need to slow it down to hear it right
* You can tune the song to your instrument instead of the other way around

Description: CueListTool is a little utility which facilitates working with the Cue-List of audio editors such as for instance CoolEdit or Audition. With the Cue List you can mark and label individual sections within sound samples to have quick access to them later. Here are some of the tasks that can be done with CueListTool:
- Copy the Cue List from one WAV file into another WAV file.
- Export the Cue List from a WAV file to a separate small file (Cue List file).
- Write the Cues from a Cue List file into a WAV file.
- Display the Cue List as text in a user-definable format.
- Transfer the Cue List as text to the clipboard oder save it as a plain text or RTF file.
- Create Cue Sheets for CD burning software to divide big audio files into individual CD tracks.
CueListTool ist especially useful if several people are working on a copy of the same WAV file and want to exchange and merge their results later. For this purpose, the small Cue List file can easily be sent by e-mail.
