Description: In the late 19th century this puzzle drove the entire world crazy. When Sam Loyd introduced the game to the public in 1878 he used a trick to arouse interest for it - he offered a thousand dollars to the one who could solve it. The puzzle consisted of a little box with 15 numbered square pieces that could be slid around to be arranged in rows from 1 in the upper left corner to 15 last on the bottom row.
But then only the last two tiles 14 and 15 were scrambled which made the puzzle mathematically unsolvable and made people rack their brains in vain.
This 15 Classic Slide Puzzle game is more humanistic. There is always a solution. The software implements a shuffling algorithm that performs scrambling by random moving, not by random placing. So you can enjoy the game having in mind that "there is always a light at the end of the tunnel".
Besides, you can use some simple effects for a change. The software offers the option of turning on simple sound effects and using different color schemes. You can choose colors for the play-field and tiles yourself or use predefined schemes. You can move tiles or you can use a right click of the mouse button to shift them. It makes the game fun to use even if it is quite simple.
Those who had the 15 slide puzzle in childhood will not fail to try the game in the digital format again. For the younger generation it will be an exciting discovery.
Some say that this game has a therapeutical effect and tile sliding calms down. Well, download and judge yourself.
The program is a freeware and runs on Windows platforms.

Description: MineMaster is a freeware clone of MS Minesweeper with some nice extra features. Big playground, where size is limited only by your desktop size. Skins are supported, both for cells of the gamefield and for the font of timer and counter digits.
Walls can be placed randomly on the playground, They never contain a mine and can not be opened by clicking. Walls that surround the playfield can optionally be displayed. Both surrounding and internal walls can be opened as an option to make the game easier. Adding internal walls without opening them will however make the game more difficult as the information on adjacent bombs is hidden for those cells.
Shields assure that bomb explotions are never harmful! When the player opens a cell that contains a bomb he will only loose a shield. So if you make a silly mistake you can still continue the game even though you won't be braking any records. When the player is out of shields he can not continue play and the game is lost. A new game will therefore always start with at least one shield. The player can also choose any fixed number of shields or select them as a percentage of bombs on the gamefield.

Description: The object of this game is to guess the sequence of a number of colored pegs the computer has selected at random. You can select with how many different colors and how many columns you want to play (3 - 7 each). With the number of colors and/or columns you can raise the severity code.
You start filling the holes at the bottom row with pegs, and each time you have completed a guess (i.e. filled all holes) the computer will respond by giving you one peg for each correct color - black if your guess was also in the right place, otherwise white - but you will not be informed about which colors and which place were correct. That part you will have to figure out for yourself.
If you haven't managed to guess the sequence in the 18th row, the game ends and you can try a new one.

Human and computer exchange moves by placing dashes between fields. When any player places fourth dash (surrounds completely the field), he has right to play again, and the points collected from the field captured add to player's overall score. Some fields add positive points (1, 2, or 5), but there are also fields which are subtracting from the overall score adding negative points). If human wins against program, points human won are carried to the next game, and game lasts until human is leading program by score.
