Description: Twintrix is heavily inspired by the Atari ST classic Klatrix, which is a mixture between Klax (Atari's attempt to steal the puzzle game crown from Tetris) and Tetris itself. It's also similar to countless other puzzle games like Columns.
This version of Twintrix was coded in Play Basic (www.PlayBasic.com) and only requires DirectX 3.0 or above.
The principle behind Twintrix is simple, connect rows of identical tiles to destroy them. The minimum length of a row is 3 tiles and they can be in any direction. Several rows can be destroyed at once, and when the remaining tiles fall down, new rows are often created causing further destruction and giving more and more score. The more tiles you destroy per move, the more you score.
Tiles fall down the screen in groups of 3, these can be shuffled into the required order then dropped onto the piles at the bottom of the screen. The next set of tiles is displayed; always a good idea to plan your next move before the current tiles fall home. The game is over if any tiles reach the top of the screen.

| Description: Basically you must align three or more blocks of the same color either horizontally or vertically in order to eliminate them. Each piece that falls is composed of two blocks which can be separated. The more blocks you eliminate at a time, the more you score. Included are random timebomb blocks which will explode after the timer reaches zero. This however does not add to your points or your total number of blocks removed. The game plays a lot like Tetris except for the large red meter on the side. When the meter reaches the top, a random number of blocks will rain down adding to your stack. After you eliminate two hundred blocks, you'll move on to the next level which will increase the speed of either the blocks or the meter. You're better off trying to remove large number of blocks at a time rather than the basic three since you'll not only score a lot higher but you'll also score your points before the game reaches unplayable speeds..

| Description: GLBlocks is a simple puzzle/tetris-style game, where the object is to make the blocks disappear by placing the blocks so that four or more of the same color is next to eachother.
GLBlocks uses OpenGL to draw all graphics, so to get the best out of the game (that is, being able to play with all details enabled) you will need a card that supports OpenGL acceleration.
But the game is fully playable on slower systems with some options turned off.
