Description: With Duplicate Music Files Finder you can track your music files duplicates and delete them. The program uses advanced search techniques to detect duplicates(it searches MP3s TAGS, detects duplicates even if the file names are not the same etc). If duplicates are found you can delete the files you want: just check them and press the right mouse button. You can also play the selected files in your favourite Media Player to see if they really are duplicates.
But this is not all you can do with DMFF. The program comes with a module that can be used to quickly rename bad formated music files. Just load one folder and DMFF will detect the bad formated files and let you choose which of them to rename.
Even though DMFF is specialized in detecting duplicates of music files, it does not mean that it can be used only for these file types. You can use the CRC Match or Exact File Name match methods to detect duplicates of other file types.

Description: Stereo Tool is a Winamp plugin that can be used to manipulate sounds.
It contains a singleband compressor, an 8-band multiband compressor, a lowpass filter and a stereo image manipulator.
The compressors can be used to make the playback volume and sound of different recordings more equal, or to remove loud peaks from recordings.
The stereo image manipulator can be used to repair phase shift problems in stereo recordings and to increase or decrease phasing and channel separation separately. It can also be used to convert sounds from stereo to mono, while preserving the fullness of the sound.
The lowpass filter is useful if certain frequencies need to be filtered out, for example the FM stereo pilot tone at 19 kHz if you send the Winamp output to an FM transmitter.

Listen to your material (e.g. recorded radio shows, live performances, DJ sets) through Winamp and find the portions, parts or tracks of interest that you want to cut out. In Mp3Extractor, as you go along, drop virtual markers at the desired start and stop times of these takes and optionally add track information.
Mp3Extractor can take Winamp under remote control: Through its interface you can not only set, but jump to, check, and fine tune marker positions (down to a tenth of a second). All this can be done very swiftly by using a elaborate scheme of keyboard short cuts.
When you're done setting markers, Mp3Extractor will copy the corresponding MP3 frames to new files, properly name and tag them and optionally write track information to a database list.
Whereas a cutter will in most cases merely trim a file, and a splitter will just cut it into pieces, the Mp3Extractor will give you exactly the parts of the file that you want - and only these.
