| Description: EasyScan is an acquisition interface for flatbed scanner using Twain standard interface capabilities from scanners drivers. So it allows to use all Twain version 1.6 or higher compatible scanners (most of flatbed scanners are). His goal is to standardize the using of scanners which interfaces are all different, and above all to promote a powerful interface with multiple possibilities. This software allows to scan in 256 colors, 16 colors... functions not allowed with some scanners, to flip the image, to rotate the image, to select one RGB channel... It can also store many images in order to print them once (very useful for sending FAX with multiple pages).

Description: "PrintFile is a freeware utility program which, as the name implies, prints files. The program recognizes the following type of files: plain text, PostScript, Encapsulated PostScript and binary (PostScript files are also text files but are treated differently than all other text files).
When printing text files PrintFile makes a configurable page layout of the text contents. Several logical pages can be placed on one page of physical paper (often referred to as n-up printing). There are also several other configurable options controlling the layout. Text files can be printed on any printer which has a Windows printer driver.
Non text files are sent files directly to a Windows printer. In this case the program can be seen as a Windows replacement for the DOS command "copy/b filename LPTx" . As opposed to this DOS command, PrintFile works well with network printers which has no connection to any LPTx."
