Using this tool, you may register/unregister ActiveX dll/ocx/exe files, and you may also compare two ActiveX files having identical filenames.
This program also provides a very handy function, which can be used to easily register and unregister ActiveX files - Shell extensions. If shell extensions are enabled (look for it in the Options and Help tab), user may right click on any dll or ocx file and select an option from the context menu (register/unregister) to perform the corresponding action.
Another neat feature of the same Shell extensions capability, is the ability to generate an ActiveX report on a folder. To do this, first of all make sure that Shell extensions are enabled within the program, then close it (Shell extensions do work even if the program is closed). Then, you may select a folder at any time, right click on it and from the drop down menu select ActiveX Report. This will scan the folder for ActiveX files, and a text file (output.txt) containing the report will be generated in the same folder, and it will also be opened automatically for viewing.
This program is Freeware.

3. The disk is completely removable, Boot from the disk and remove it from the computer it is no longer needed, this is great when your coworker borrows your MadBoot disk.
4. MadBoot now uses Emm386 to manage the memory. this leaves enough memory to load NTFSDOS and the MadBoot menu at the same time.
5. More Options have been added for Registry repair.
6. Support For Windows 2003 Standard / Windows 2003 Enterprise/ Windows 2003 Web. Automated Installs and Manual installs.
7. More error checking.

EditHistory is a program that "converts" regular edit fields into combo boxes and adds a list of your most recently used folders or accessed documents to your Open/Save boxes, so you donґt have to search all over the place for them. You can easily pick up a file youґve been using a week or month ago!
It also remembers what you typed into other edit boxes, and places that information in drop-down lists that let you easily choose files and commands youґve issued before. Parameters for each edit field can be changed. You can control what is stored and how it is organized. It can be trained for specific programs, and can be configured to not come up with other programs.
This new version of the program has a resizable main window, an English/French interface, also the possibility to check for an update from the Web site.
