TedNPad shimmers with an excellent array of features you won't find in most Notepad replacements without being too complicated. My first impression was that this notepad is clearly used by the guy who wrote it, simply because it has the same look-n-feel throughout the app and because it does its job and gets out of your way!
Plain, simple, basic functions require no learning, but offers plenty of nifty extras when you need them and if all else fails, provides a user-definable filter interface so it'll do what you want.
Features include multiple persistant clipboards (that stay out of your face), Stay On Top, exit with Escape key, file favorites list, MRU file list, and an impressive collection of text manipulation capabilities make this one robust yet lean (about 100K) editor. Case tools, sorting tools, Unix to PC tools, email quoting...dang I like this Notepad!

This project, based on Scintilla edit component (a very powerful editor component) and written in C++ with pure win32 api and STL (that ensures the higher execution speed and smaller size of the program), is under the GPL Licence.
