Typical Tablelands topography, which is generally undulating with some hilly sections, running down to valleys and river flats. The course has been modified slightly from the Zone 2 Championships held in June 1999. The fourth leg is shorter, with the first steep rough hill being removed from the course. The State 2000 track will be five legs, clover-leaf, with all legs returning to base. There are some short sections of bitumen at Windeyer and through Hargraves; unfortunately it is not possible to go around Hargraves.
