ACCOMMODATION:

Camping at the Recreation Grounds ($5 camping fee per entry). Showers are available at the Bushlands Caravan Park just over the road for a small fee for those not staying at the Caravan Park. Self-contained units and caravans available at Bushlands (02 6373 8252) - but be quick to book (no horses of course).
CANTEEN:

Volunteers from Windeyer Progress Assoc. will operate the canteen over meal times from lunch Thursday, then non-stop from Saturday morning until Sunday midnight. A hearty breakfast will be provided on Monday. An excellent range of meals and drinks will be available, either as eat-in or take-away. This service will supply funds for community projects, so please support them.
GENERAL STORE:

Located at Bushlands Caravan Park with groceries, ice, LP gas and laundry facilities.
PUBLIC PHONE:

Located outside the General Store. There is no digital or CDMA mobile service in the area.
HOTEL:

The Windeyer Hotel is just across the road from the Ride Base.
FUEL:

There is no fuel available for purchase at Windeyer so please remember to fill up at Mudgee or Bathurst

FIREWOOD:

 

 Provided at Ride Base free of charge - but bring an axe to split your own.
HORSE FEED: Available from Kellets Produce on Sydney Road in Mudgee, on the way into town from the Sydney side. For special feed requirements (Mitavite etc.), phone first on (02) 6372-1555
HORSE WATER:

Bore water on tap around the grounds. There is also a dam within the Ride Base.

 
HUMAN WATER:

Rainwater tanks at Ride Base, strictly for human use only.

 
FARRIER:

An experienced farrier will be available over the weekend and on-course during the ride.

 
NOTE: Rubbish bags will be issued to riders for camp rubbish. Please create a communal
manure/straw pile for your area. All campsites MUST be left clean.
