| Windeyer is a small rural village
40km south west of Mudgee on the Central Tablelands. Its history started
with the discovery of gold, and later with the production of fine wool,
which continues today. Windeyer has a very strong sense of community, and small though it is, volunteers from the Progress Association have thrown themselves fully into supporting this Ride and providing the personnel to man the checkpoints etc. Please appreciate that the course travels through a great deal of private property so please take care not to drop any rubbish. Dogs must be on a leads at all times regardless of size and nature - sheep property owners and some horses don't appreciate stray dogs. |
