Our "Wolgan" cabin can accommodate 6 people in all the comforts of home. It has a queen-sized bed in the separate bedroom and four single beds / sofas in the living area. This spacious living area also includes a modern kitchen with all amenities; fridge, gas stove with oven, microwave oven and all the cutlery,crockery and pots and pans you will need. The bathroom, designed for wheelchair access, is a comfortable size. A cosy gas room heater will keep you warm in winter.There is also a grand verandah with a wonderful view for you to enjoy which you can also see from the outdoor barbacue area. This is the ideal cabin for families and groups.
We provide doonas, pillows and blankets, but you will need to bring your own linen and towels.

We are happy to announce the opening of our third cabin, the "Colo" Cabin which is the focal point of our "town square". It has a tower and has been designed to accommodate 4 people. This cabin is slightly larger than the "Capertee" cabin and includes a small study and a spectacular observatory bunk bed. On one side of the cabin, under the timber lined, gable roof, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge etc. and a dining area with a sofa / single bed. On the opposite side is the sleeping area with a queen sized bed, study area and single bunk bed. The bathroom facilities - shower, toilet, washbasin - are located at the back of the cabin. There's also a gas heater to keep you warm in winter.
Our "Capertee" Cabin has been designed to accommodate 4 people. This compact cabin has a real mountain Australian feel but with all the comforts of home. On one side of the cabin, under the timber lined, gable roof, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge etc. and a dining area with a sofa / single bed. Our cosy caravan is still a popular alternative to camping at Newnes. It is self contained, with a kitchenette and a fridge. There is a double bed and two bunk beds. So theoretically it sleeps four, however the small space gets a bit crowded. It is ideal for two persons.
You are welcome to camp on the river flats along the Wolgan River. Usually Newnes visitors with pets make use of this option but also people who like a quieter spot than the camp ground in the National Park, which can get rather busy and noisy, especially during long weekends.
